ReconCycleEuropean Robotics Forum (ERF 2023) was held in Odense, Denmark from March 14th to 16th 2023.
At the conference, the Trinity project organized a workshop entitled “Feasibility Of Agile Manufacturing, What Really Moves SMEs“. The coordinator of the ReconCycle project Aleš Ude presented the results of ReconCycle at the workshop.
The results of the project Reconcycle, regarding the reconfiguration of recyclicng workcells, will be presented at Trade fair for automation, mechatronics, sensor technology, measurement technologies (IFAM 2023), Ljubljana, Slovenia from March 7th to March 9th 2023.
The approach developed during in Reconcycle project were illustrated in Automatica fair in Munich. This was presented in AI.Society booth at the premises of Messe München from June 21-24, 2022. were our institute, MIRMI/TUM illustrated the inspiring vision of tomorrow’s society and its intelligent machines, along with the future of Health, Work, Mobility and Environment by showing visible, touchable and presentable projects.

The head of IIT research team in ReconCycle Antonio Bicchi was a plenary speaker at ICRA 2022, which was held in Philadelphia, USA. In his talk prof. Bicchi discussed embodied intelligence as determined and anticipated by the physics of the body which mediates our interaction with the world. He explained how artificial hands and haptics, prostheses and avatars can be conceived and realized to better serve humans in different environments. His presentation included the results from several projects including ReconCycle.
The coordinator of ReconCycle Aleš Ude presented the project in the session “New H2020 Projects”, which was held at the European Robotics Forum in Malaga, Spain, on March 5th, 2020.

ReconCycle is one of the four research and innovation actions that were selected for funding in H2020 call “ICT-09-2019-2020”, Robotics in Application Areas. The project’s kickoff meeting was held at Jožef Stefan Institute in Ljubljana, Slovenia, from February 13th – 14th, 2020. At the meetings the partners were focusing on the establishment of the initial experimental environment and on the main research issues that need to be addressed in the project to implement the recycling cell prototype.
